Assembly, on behalf of Meyer Bergman, is redeveloping this industrial heritage building located in the trendy district of Neukölln. Before the works, it becomes an exhibition place for local artists during the 48h festival, a major art event in Berlin for 20 years.
The industrial character of the building perfectly matches with the contemporary art pieces, prefigurating the future uses not any more as purely technical premises but with real people in it.
A special thank to Martin Steffens of Kulturnetzwerk for having made it possible, and Virginia Garfunkel for the photos.
